The plane transfer from Perpignan to Saint Etienne takes the riders from the Pyrénées to the Massif Central and the "Forez" without any transition. Bicycle and soccer rule in the industrial town of Saint Etienne, which is very attached to its cultural activities and parks. This individual time trial goes through the "Massif du Pilat," which Jean-Jacques Rousseau explored, up the "Croix de Chaubouret" and the "Bessat." A true test just before the Alps. Climbs: km 26.4 Col de la Croix de Chaubouret 14-km climb at 5.9 %
